I was reminiscing about my first market I ever did with my vintage collection the other day. It was in Boston at the Sowa Open Market event called Baked Fresh. I was so nervous and I stressed over the event for months. Now we are on our 4th year of selling at Sowa, planning events and vending markets is like walking and talking for me, I don’t even think about it. What a difference four years makes (wink wink).
I cant believe I havent posted this yet, but the Haberdash was mentioned in Bust Magazine last month. It was in a story about the “Mobile Boutique Trend”. Which is a little silly to me because when I was building Haberdash 3 years ago, I had to create the term mobile boutique because there was no such term.
I was worried with all the Swap traveling I have going on this summer, I would be neglecting The Haberdash. I’ve decided to enlist the help of another pack rat, vintage lover, and old stuff expert to run the online shop. Welcome Linnea to the Haberdash Team! You can count on her to bring affordable, on trend vintage straight to your desktops!
We are stocking up and spiffing up to get ready for the 2011 season. We have some styling new wheels and we will soon have a shiny new polish that will blind your fashionable little faces! Look out Boston…we are on the move!
The Haberdash in her warm cozy storage space for the winter, but that doesn’t mean I’m not stocking up on vintage goodies for the spring for our mobile vintage fans! Hurry up spring!
