Start at the Station

I will be at Worcester’s Start at the Station this Sunday! I even made some special business cards just for this event! I hope you will stop by to what all the talented Worcesterite’s have to offer!
Event Details:
stART on the Street brings its 6th annual gifting-themed arts and crafts festival to Worcester’s Union Station at 2 Washington Square on Sunday, December 4, from 11 – 5pm.
A special preview hour at 10am is available for a $5 donation, which comes with coffee, baked treats and a stART on the Street shopping bag, as well as shopping without the crowds.
Admission at 11am is free, though donations to help stART remain a free event are welcome.
Start on the Street

The Haberdash will be at StArt on the Street this Sunday!
Don’t miss the festival that was voted “Best of Worcester Annual Festival” by Worcester Magazine readers and “Best of Festivals & Special Events” by Worcester Living readers in 2011.
“Join us from 11a-5p on Sunday, September 18th when we once again shut down Worcester’s Park Ave to cars and open it to arts, performances, food, friends, and a few competitive folks on roller skates.”
This year’s festival will include, but is certainly not limited to:
- 200+ artists and crafters selling their handmade wares
- Kids fun area
- 4 stages with a variety of performances through the day, including music, spoken word and children’s acts
- Food court complete with vegan options (vegan ice cream too? You bet!)
- Central Mass Roller Derby
- Street Performance
- Artist Demonstrations
Styling for Womag

The Worcester Magazine issue about shopping thrifty in Worcester that Linnea (our online shop guru) and I styled came out this week. You can also read it online here.
StART on Main
This weekend was the season opener for the mobile shop. We spent the day with what seemed like all of Worcester, hanging out at StArt on the Street. We danced in the street and ate from every food truck that was there. If you live in central Mass and missed this event, there is another one in September. Hope to see your there!

StART on Main Street
I had a great time at the Start On The Street Festival this weekend. I made some new friends (note the furry one in the photos). I even left the store in the hands of someone else for the first time ever without having a nervous breakdown (thank you Linnea).
Baby steps.

A photo of the Haberdash made it on the Telegram and Gazette website, Which I was so excited about…see it here.
